WhatsApp job updates sent from the job card
Omni Field sends customer notifications by WhatsApp and email from the job card, so the on-my-way message, the completion note, the quote and the invoice with its payment link all trace back to the job. Templates are managed in the settings and opt-outs are recorded. Two-way WhatsApp chat is available from the PaYu plan.

Why the message should come from the job
Most South African trades already run on WhatsApp, typed by hand from a personal phone. The trouble starts when the thread is the only record: the office cannot see it, the next technician cannot find it, and six months later nobody knows what was promised. Sending from the job record keeps the message and the job together, and the notification log shows what went out, to whom and when.
What goes out, and when
Automatic notifications cover the events a customer cares about: the job is booked, the technician is on the way, the job is complete, the quote is ready, the invoice is ready with its payment link, and a payment reminder when it falls due. Each can be sent by WhatsApp, by email, or both, from templates you edit in the settings. The customer's language setting on their record chooses the language of the message.
Two-way chat and the rules around it
Automatic notifications are included on every plan, including Free. Two-way WhatsApp chat with customers inside the platform is available from PaYu. Messages go through the WhatsApp Business platform, so the templates follow its categories, the customer must have opted in, and opt-outs are recorded and respected. There is no SMS channel, and the site does not claim one.
