Job card software for South African trade businesses
Omni Field is job card software for South African trade businesses. Each job card carries the customer, the site, the tasks, photos, parts, time and a signature, feeds the invoice directly, and keeps working through a dropped signal. Prices are published in Rand with VAT included, and there is a free plan to start on.

What a digital job card holds
A job card in Omni Field is the record of one piece of work: who the customer is, where the site is, what was asked for, what was done, who did it, when, with which parts, and who signed it off. Technicians fill it in from the phone as the work happens rather than from memory in the bakkie afterwards.
Photos attach to the card at each stage, so a before and after of a geyser, a distribution board or a roof repair sits with the job rather than in a WhatsApp thread nobody can find in six months. Notes, task lists and parts used are captured the same way, and the customer signs on the screen.
From quote to job card to invoice
The job card is one step in a chain, not a separate document. A quote becomes a job when the customer accepts it, the job card records what was actually done, and the invoice is built from the card without retyping line items. Deposits, partial payments, discounts and purchase order numbers are handled on the invoice controls.
Because the same record carries the whole chain, the office can see at a glance which jobs are quoted, scheduled, in progress, complete and invoiced, and which invoices are still unpaid.
On site with a dropped signal
The field app is an installable web app for Android and iPhone that tolerates a dropped connection. Work captured in a basement, a plant room or during load shedding is held in a sync queue and sent up when the signal returns. It is not a fully offline system, and it does not claim to be: the job card, its photos and its signature are captured on the phone and synced, and the office sees them once they arrive.
Customer updates from the job card
Customer notifications go out from the job record by email and WhatsApp, so the on-my-way message, the completion note and the invoice all trace back to the same job. Templates are managed in the settings and opt-outs are recorded. There is no SMS channel.
