Work order management software for field teams

Omni Field is work order management software for field teams. A work order, called a job card in South Africa, is created from a request or a quote, scheduled to a technician, completed on the phone with photos, parts, time and a signature, and invoiced from the same record. Recurring work orders generate themselves on a schedule.

Work order or job card: the same record

South African trades say job card; facilities and maintenance teams say work order. In Omni Field they are one thing: a job with a customer, a site, tasks, an assigned technician, a schedule, and the evidence of completion. The glossary explains the two terms; the software does not make you choose.

The life of a work order

A work order starts as a service request from the client portal, a quote the customer accepts, a recurring schedule, or a job the office raises. It is scheduled on the conflict-aware calendar and dispatched to a technician, who completes it on the phone with photos, task ticks, parts and time, and collects a signature. The office invoices from the completed record and sends a payment link. Status is visible at every step.

Recurring and planned work

Recurring job templates generate work orders on a daily, weekly, monthly or custom schedule, so a maintenance contract, a pest treatment round or a monthly cleaning visit does not depend on someone remembering. Recurring jobs are included on Growth and available on PaYu as an add-on. Asset records per customer site keep the history of what was serviced and when.
