Which channels do customer notifications use?

Accepted Answer

Customer notifications go out by email and WhatsApp. There is no customer-facing SMS channel in Omni Field, so those are the two options. Notifications cover booking confirmation, technician en route, job completion and invoice delivery, and each one is logged against the customer record with its delivery status so nothing is left to memory.

Can customers log their own service requests?

Yes. A customer submits a request through the portal form, and it creates a job in your system and notifies the dispatch team, so nothing sits unread in an inbox. Requests can be routed by priority. Internal notes stay private to your team, while the customer sees only the status you publish.

Does the portal carry my branding instead of yours?

Yes. The client portal is white-labelled with your business name, logo and branding, so customers experience it as your service rather than a third-party tool. Estimates, invoices and job reports carry the same branding. Documents you choose to share appear there, and anything you have not shared stays internal to your team.

Will I have a full service history for each customer?

Yes. Every customer profile holds contact details, service addresses, past jobs, equipment records, invoices and the communication log, so nobody has to explain their history again. Customers with several properties are supported on one profile. Technicians can read that history on their phone before they knock on the door.
